See the Grand Courts in a new light, join Danny May of Yoga Synergy. Yoga Synergy is one of Sydney's most established, largest and most respected yoga schools. Charles Madden is a highly respected and well known member of the Aboriginal Community. He is an elder from Gadigal land and has lived in and around the Redfern area most of his life, serving the Indigenous community as Director of the Aboriginal Medical Service, Secretary of the Metropolitan Aboriginal Land Council and Director of the NSW Aboriginal Hostel.

A classic Australian film that has won critical acclaim. Starring the charismatic Jack Thompson, it explores the plight of the shearer, an occupation at the heart of the male-dominated mythology of the outback and subject of the famous Tom Roberts painting in Court 9 The Golden Fleece 1894.

- 11am Jack Thompson, actor, reads from The campfire yarns of Henry Lawson
Jack Thompson is Australia’s most loved and respected actor and one of the major figures of Australian cinema. Best known for his role as Clancy in The Man From Snowy River, he has appeared in over 70 productions. Son of the poet and broadcaster John Thompson, Jack learnt the poems of Banjo Paterson and Henry Lawson as a school boy. Jack said today, “Lawson is the voice of the battler, the true poet of the people.”
To coincide with the launch of his new CD Jack will read from The campfire yarns of Henry Lawson.
