A monthly art program designed for members' children aged strictly between 9-12 years. The workshops aim to increase the children's knowledge of artists and their work, while developing their skills and techniques.

Registration is strictly 15 minutes prior to each session

7 & 8 November - WIRE SCULPTURE & MIXED MEDIA

This month we are inspired by the whimsical and imaginative art works of Robert Kippel and Alexander Calder, who were endlessly inventive with their use of materials. We then have fun exploring a variety of forms, while ‘drawing’ from our imaginations in wire, as we search out and bring forth the ‘inner life,’ found within our materials.

5 & 6 December - LINO PRINTING

Lino printing is a fun and simple form of printmaking, that Picasso used in innovative and imaginative ways to explore themes found within his art practice. We invent our own symbols and use repeat patterns, to surprise our friends and family with a limited edition print for Christmas!
