Art Club

Welcome to the wonderful world of Art Club – the Art Gallery Society’s program for our nine to twelve year old members. 2008 leads us through both the Gallery’s permanent collections and temporary exhibition, where we find different ways of looking at ourselves, and our world, inside and out. Whether travelling outside our own culture or having the artist’s world come to us, looking at detail is what this year’s Art Club is all about.

THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS - Saturday 6 & Sunday 7 December

Step into the beautiful paintings of Monet and imagine what your life would be like if you lived inside one of his artworks. Using the techniques of Monet, create a painting that mirrors the style of the artist and add, to the landscape, the characters that live within your imagined world.

CONDITIONS
The Art Gallery Society of NSW reserves the right to change, substitute or cancel elements of the advertised program. Advertised prices subject to change. No transfer between sessions. Booking essential. AGS recommends children wear a paint shirt to all workshops.

CANCELLATIONS
Three (3) full working days (Mon–Fri) notice is required to qualify for a refund. All refunds attract an administration charge of 25% of the ticket price(s) with a minimum charge of $5. Not negotiable.
