The following programs for secondary school students are available for scheduled dates in 2016. Bookings are essential, at least two weeks in advance.

Under the spotlight

Discover the artworks, themes and narratives in our highlighted exhibitions throughout the year. What is the thinking behind the selection of works, what is the role of the curator and how does an exhibition aim to inspire an audience. Choose a one-hour discussion session or longer sessions with an artmaking focus.

Study mornings

Study mornings are a great way to explore the artworks and the behind-the-scenes work that brings an exhibition from idea to reality. Investigate themes and artists in one of our highlighted exhibitions and, for ARTEXPRESS, hear exhibiting students talk about their bodies of work.

HSC study days

Recommended for students beginning their journey into Year 12 in 2017. Led by our teacher specialists, find ways to unpack the current HSC Visual Arts HSC paper with our collection and develop strategies for writing about art and ideas.
