Creative calligraphy
Practice styles of writing with brush and ink from ancient pictograms to free-flowing cursive expression.
Spirit of the brush
Learn the techniques of brush and ink as expressed in Chinese mountain landscapes and Japanese Zen painting.
Taking tea
Join a Japanese tea ceremony as a guest in the Gallery’s tea room to experience the customs and aesthetics of art appreciation (Wednesdays and Thursdays only).
