ARTEXPRESS
The annual exhibition of outstanding works produced by HSC Visual Arts students. The Gallery aims to represent a diverse range of styles, media and approaches from government and non-government schools in NSW. Presented in association with the Department of Education and Training and the Board of Studies in NSW.

Operation Art
An annual exhibition of drawings, paintings, collage and mixed media works mainly by primary students for children in hospital.
Presented in association with the New Children's Hospital NSW, Westmead and the Department of Education and Training.

Study Room for Prints, Drawings & Photography

The Study Room provides public access to the Gallery's collection of works on paper including prints, drawings and photographs, as well as selected sketchbooks and print blocks. School groups can visit with Teacher-Lecturers or with teachers under supervision of the Study Room Assistant.

Research Library

The Art Gallery Research Library holds one of the most comprehensive collections of fine art publications, rare books, manuscripts and artists' ephemera in Australia and houses monographs, periodicals and electronic resources such as CD-ROMs as well as exhibition files and art-related newspaper clippings.

The Gallery Shop

A wide range of books, catalogues, posters and postcards. Mail order and school discounts available.
Collection publications include: AGNSW Collections, AGNSW Collections Handbook, Australian Prints from the Gallery's Collection, Australian Drawing from the Gallery's Collection, Australian Art in the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

Courses

The Gallery has a high quality free film program screened weekly in the Domain Theatre, Lower Level 3. Programs are related to the temporary exhibitions. Film at the Gallery brochure available on request.
