Focusing on key temporary exhibitions, issues and ideas these days are held throughout the year (approximately four per year). Providing teachers with an opportunity to engage with museum professionals, artists, performers and education specialists, these programs aim to stimulate discussion and develop ideas and techniques for the K-6 classroom across the Key Learning Areas. They include lectures, tours, exhibition entry, workshops, education resources and refreshments. Monet and the gardens Start the day with a guided tour of the exhibition with curator Terence Maloon, review the educational material and programs, enjoy lunch and then stroll to the Botanic Gardens for practical plein-air art workshops with Gallery educators and specialist staff.
