Art adventure toursJoin our specially trained volunteer children's guides on an art adventure tour to introduce K-6 students to the Gallery's permanent collection. All tours are written to complement the K-6 syllabus and the most appropriate subject links are highlighted in each tour description. This tour is recommended for all first time visitors and provides children with an opportunity to develop their own visual arts vocabulary through discussion, exploration, activities and role-play. It is the perfect complement to other Key Learning Areas and as a starting point for exploring visual culture both in the Gallery and in everyday life. Themes linked to classroom activities can be requested as part of the tour.
