Travel as lightly as possible and, when possible, avoid bringing individual student bags.
No responsibility is taken by the Gallery for the loss of valuable items or bags.
On arrival...
- Aim to arrive 10-15 minutes early (serviced bookings only).
- Check in with a Gallery Services Officer (GSO) at the entrance door.
- Place bags in storage trolleys as directed by GSOs.
- Check in with staff at the Information Desk, even if you have not booked an education service.
- Meet your Children's Guides / Teacher-Lecturers at the Information Desk (serviced bookings only).
- Facilities for students with a disability are available. Please ask GSOs or Information Desk staff for further information (see below).
Remember...
- Student behaviour, safety and security are a teacher's responsibility. Groups must be supervised at all times.
- Turn off mobile phones.
- Touching artwork is not permitted.
- Ballpoint and felt-tip pens are not permitted. A pencil and small sketchbook are preferred.
- Photography of the Gallery's permanent collection, with the exception of the Yiribana Gallery, is permitted only without a flash or tripod.
- Photography of your students engaging with the Gallery is permitted, without a flash or tripod.
- Eating, drinking or chewing gum in the Gallery is not permitted.
