This gallery and studio museum provides a unique space where students can gain a personal insight into Australian lyrical expressionist painter, Brett Whiteley. Exhibitions change regularly and displays of the artist's sketchbooks, materials, personal memorabilia and music reveal his inspirations and illustrate his art practice.

Experiment with a variety of drawing techniques, media and application.

Explore the evolution of an idea in this mixed media based workshop.

Ink without Think
A workshop designed to experience and experiment with the tradition called sumi-e painting (Japanese painting with brush and ink).

Life Drawing
Draw from a model (nude or part clothed) and experiment with different approaches to drawing, using a variety of media.

Studio Zoo
Taronga Zoo comes to the Surry Hills Studio. Within the inspirational environment of Whiteley's Studio, school students have the opportunity to seek out their favourite creature to draw.
