Count Stefan Zamoyski (Poland; England, b.1904, d.1979), pre 01 Apr 1960, London/England, sold Christie's London 1 April 1960 'The Property of a Gentleman', lot no. 70. Christie's London on behalf of the AGNSW have contacted Count Zamoyski's son but unfortunately he does not have access to information regarding when and from whom his father may have purchased the painting.
