The models are by Kändler. A version of the same model, in which the baskets have flat tops pierced for cut flowers, is listed in his work records for 1740–44. The figures are also known in a version with baskets of fruit and vegetables. These are said to be datable from the model number to 1748. Similar figures were also produced at both Saint-Cloud and Chelsea.
