The moulded decoration of the rim on this set of floor plates (with L2012.122, L2012.124, L2012.124, L2012.125) is a leafier variant of that on another plate in the collection (L2012.121). The painted decoration is in a style associated with an anonymous painter known as the ‘trembly rose painter’.
