About
The central design is a typical Kraak design but, according to Kraak ware expert Maura Rinaldi, borders like this, formed by two rows of short straight brushstrokes around a rounded and scalloped cavetto, are rare. As often on Kraak ware, the base has irregular radiating lines from the centre to the foot rim. These are known as chatter marks.
