    Two four-clawed dragons contest a flaming pearl among 'lingzhi' (implying longevity) clouds and flame clouds. The simplified net design for the dragons’ scales and the four claws for them suggest this piece was not made by the imperial kiln, and was used by lower-ranked officials.
