    This is an example of a Laytu Chin textile from Burma. The warp-faced textile is embellished with stripes, pom-poms, and elaborate supplementary weft designs in the two white stripes. Typically for backstrap woven cloths, this wrap is made of two pieces of fabric joined together with running overhand knots. Such cloths were used for ceremonial events such as feasts and funerals.
