About
Lubna Chowdhary, who has Indian and Pakistani heritage, was born in Tanzania and raised in England. Working primarily with ceramics, she draws inspiration from childhood memories and her experiences of living in and visiting different places on multiple continents.
Certain times comprises a group of glazed ceramic shapes that variously reference architecture, industry, spiritual iconography and logo design. When brought together in tableaus they evoke futuristic city skylines.
