About
According to Geoffrey Fullwood, the artist's son, the young woman in the foreground of this pastel is his mother, Clyda Blanche Fullwood. Henry Fullwood married Clyda in 1896. She was a pianist and the daughter of the Sydney photographer John Herbert Newman. In this pastel she is about 20 to 22 years of age.
