Memory wall, old and new lost Dreams, reality and future Dreams

"This work is dedicated to mothers who encourage children to have dreams, tell the history and show the beauty of things that surround us, no matter what the harshness of the surroundings that you are growing up in.This is represented by the beauty in the canvas, against the harshness of corrugated iron.

This work was inspired by a woman that the artist knew when growing up in Darwin and the words she spoke to him as a young boy: "Know your history, know where you are now, and do'’t forget to dream, because to dream is to look, to the future."

The barb-wire, feathers and ribbons symbolise all the Aboriginal people who have died fighting for and defending their country.The middle panel of the artwork, represents a place the artist went to as a young boy with his grandmother which was a special place near two mountains in the Northern Territory near Darwin.

The two outside panels with the mother and baby lizard are the representation of everlasting life and history, that keep turning no matter what.The climate represents, that no matter how hard things were there was always music, soft and gentle."
