Further information

A young Osaka artist who was born in Hyogo Prefecture and educated at the Osaka School of Art and Design, Fukumoto often uses the motif of either a rainbow or lightning in his complex prints in which he combines solarised photographic views of a city with abstract, gestural devices. The idea for this work came from the pattern on a leftover tube of paint.
