About
Randolph Bezzant Holmes (1888-1973) was a professional photographer in Peshawar, working for and eventually running the business established by his father in the 1890s. The company became well-known for its photographs of the north-western region, now part of Pakistan and Afghanistan. In 1919, the company acted as official photographers to the Third Anglo-Afghan War.
