    The figures in this work re-appear in Untitled 1992/93 (269.2008) signalling Henson’s ongoing reuse of specific motifs – whether figures, landscapes or the built environment. The artist has been working with this particular format since the early 1990s though he did not begin to put the works together in any loose sequences until he had exhausted the mid 1990s ‘cut screens’. This early example, then is interesting to consider in relation to those works as well as his photographs from the last 15 years.
