Clan St Vincent Rodda was born in Port Pirie, South Australia in 1935, and studied at the South Australian School of Art in 1958, before moving to Sydney in 1965 to study at the Julian Ashton Art School, where he taught from 1968-76. He lives and works in Port Pirie.
