  • About

    The block printing on the cotton 'odhni' imitates a tie dye form while the embroidered grid contains a stylised form of the two leaf and bud design common in the region as well as scorpions and millipedes. The embroidered circles around mirrors, the large crosses and the swastikas all refer to the sun and the auspiciousness and protection associated with the sun.
