  • About

"The Tower" is a performance which consists of raising an edifice in a space with a ceiling of great height. This edifice is constructed out of tables. Construction and deconstruction of this tower is an arduous performance; and deconstruction follows construction on consecutive days during an exhibition.

Performance 25 January - 1 February 1984 at the AGNSW in association with Sydney College of the Arts. Sponsored by the Bushells Trust.

Draughted drawings by Dilys Bidewell. Photographs, connection system and tackle design by Peter Rasmussen.
