About
Art Centre documentation for this work states:
"I named this camp dog Ku' Aak Warpung. This is the name of a place in my homeland near Cape Keerweer. My people first encountered Europeans at Cape Keerweer in 1604. This is the first recorded contact of any Aboriginal nation with Europeans. Warpung is the big lake right behind Cape Keerweer. There is a lot of barramundi in that big lake."
