About
Raymond Arnold has lived and worked in Tasmania since 1983, but has been fascinated with its landscape for much longer, since he first visited there as a teenager. His work there is engaged with the natural and heritage values inherent in the region.
This triptych is made of panels 1, 5 and 6 selected by the artist from a larger suite of works, 'Imaginary landscape - eighteen months in Tasmania' 1984 (edition of five, one in National Gallery of Australia collection).
