  • About

This drawing was developed into a painting about the time of the 11 September 2001 attacks on New York and Washington. It is part of a continuing series of drawings the artist has made since the early 1980s using collage and charcoal, which he later grids up and develops into paintings. Often the drawing precedes the painting by some time, as is the case with this work and its related painting.
