About
The Papunya Tula documentation for MN940258 states:
This painting depicts the Kungka Kutjarra (Two women) at the site of Putja, a rockhole to the south of the Kintore community. While at this site the two women played the manimani game. This game involves clearing an area of ground directly in front of them and placing leaves to represent an imaginary family. During this the ground is tapped lightly with a small stick and songs are chanted. This game is said to attract an eligible male.
