Group exhibitions include 'The Numbers Game', The Adam Art Gallery, Te Pataka Toi, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand (2000), 'What is this thing called photography?', Art Gallery of New South Wales (1999), 'Photography is Dead! Long Live Photography,' Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney (1996), 'Australian Perspecta' (1985 & 1987), and the 'Biennale of Sydney' (1986, 1988 & 1990).

Redgate is represented in most public collections in Australia. She has been the recipient of several Australia Council grants including for the Cité des Arts, Paris 1996-97 and Kunsterprogramm des DAAD, Berlin 1987.

'Untitled Day' 2000 continues Redgate's preoccupation with systems and the relationships between objects whether in constructed environments or the supposedly mundane world of family life. In 'Untitled Day' locations on opposite sides of the world, the relationships between these and the interactions between family members and locations are explored.
