  • About

'The rain man' was collected by the legendary Dorothy Bennett. It depicts the story of the Rain Man who came to Buckingham Bay by canoe bringing with him two catfish. He caused the rain to come in a great flood so that all the trees and grass were covered. All this water causes the freshwater turtle to come out swimming. The cross-hatching represents water and the dotted diagonal lines are hailstones.
