Part of the exhibition Murruwaygu: following in the footsteps of our ancestors, this is an insight into classical Koori or pre-colonial material, in particular the two types of shields unique to the south-east region: the parrying shield and the broad shield. Both are carved from wood and are often highly decorated works of art.
