Exhibition walkthrough: The space between us
With the curator and artists
This fifth Anne Landa Award exhibition, The space between us, explores a particular thread in contemporary practice: the relationship between video and performance. Through the work of seven Australian and New Zealand artists, it questions the artist’s role as performer or director, our role as viewers and the power of performance to communicate ideas.
Join guest curator and director of Monash University Museum of Art, Charlotte Day, as she takes visitors through the exhibition and speaks with some of the artists about their work and their thoughts about performance art today.
