Sonopolis

Sound performance

Francisco López is internationally recognised as one of the main figures in sound art and experimental music. In conjunction with the Renaissance to Goya exhibition, he will present a concert comprising various urban soundscapes – in surround sound in darkness.

Titled Sonopolis, the work comprises virtual worlds of sound created out of a myriad of original sources from rainforests and deserts to factories and buildings from multiple locations in the five continents.

A short sound performance by Barbara Ellison will precede Francisco’s work.

Drinks served after Francisco’s performance.
