Celebrated contemporary artist discusses his work
Shaun Gladwell’s videos focus on how his subjects move. Breakdancers, skateboarders, beatboxers, BMX bike riders are filmed on the streets and in urban public spaces. Gladwell is himself a skateboarder and he creates a mesmerising dialogue between performance and street culture.
