Rainbow dragon workshop

A drop-in colouring activity for children aged 3 and over

Artists Di Wu and Kathy Huang emigrated from China in the 1980s and have created the symbol of the Rainbow Dragon to express the blending of Chinese heritage with multicultural Australia. Their recent children’s book Are you a dragon? explains the Chinese traditions of lunar new year and the meaning of each zodiac sign.

Parents, drop by with your kids to meet the authors of the book, who will help children colour their own rainbow dragon.

This event is part of the 2012 City of Sydney Chinese New Year Festival, celebrating the Year of the Dragon.
