Members of Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop

Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop is on a mission to transform the traditional concert-going experience. Founded by cellist Michael Rauter and conductor Julian Kuerti, this young chamber orchestra from Berlin respects musical history but experiments with context.

The go-to ensemble for some of music’s biggest names, New York’s yMusic combine virtuosity with energy. Members of the group have performed and recorded with Björk, Jay Z, Dirty Projectors, Grizzly Bear, Bon Iver, Peter Gabriel, Vampire Weekend and more, creating their own niche at the nexus of indie and classical. yMusic’s playing is intricate, articulate, irreverent and percussive, its performances ambitious and inspired.
