HSC teachers day 2013
For teachers from low SES school communities
The Gallery invites teachers from low socio-economic status school communities to participate in a free HSC teachers study day. This day will focus on both components of the Visual Arts written examination, specifically addressing and investigating questions from the 2013 HSC paper.
The day will familiarise teachers with the Gallery’s collection as a valuable resource for the Stage 6 Syllabus.

Floor talk: Exploring the 2013 HSC Visual Arts paper

Using the 2013 written paper and examples from the Gallery’s collection, teachers will discuss works on the gallery floor.
Approaches to Sections 1 and 2 of the HSC Visual Arts 2013 written paper

Exploring the Gallery
NSW Institute of Teachers’ endorsed provider of Institute-registered professional development for the maintenance of accreditation at Professional Competence. Scope of Endorsement: All elements of Professional Teaching Standards 1,2,3,4 and 6 at Professional Competence for Visual Arts related professional development.
