This panel discusses the challenges facing museums today, with a particular focus on museums in Germany, the complexities involved in mounting international loan exhibitions, as well as the topical issue of immunity against seizure. Exhibition curator Jacqui Strecker in conversation with Sean Rainbird (director, Staatsgalerie Stuttgart) Prof Dr Carla Schulz-Hoffmann (deputy director general, Bayerische Staatsgemäldesammlungen and chief curator, Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich) and Charlotte Davy (senior exhibitions registrar, Art Gallery of NSW).
