Jennifer Keeler-Milne is a practising artist and teacher. She is an eight-time finalist in the Dobell Prize for Drawing and she is represented in Australia’s largest drawing collections, including the Art Gallery of NSW. She is an experienced and qualified teacher, who has lectured at the University of Sydney, UTS and the National Art School.
All levels of experience are welcome. Group limited to 12 places.

Drawing from sculpture to discover form
Learn how to create volume and three dimensions in your drawing. Learn the skill of working with graphite to describe form, while taking an in-depth look at some of the sculptures from the collection.

Inspired by the photographs in the collections, explore the world of depicting reality. Learn how to utilise black and white to create illusions of depth and tone.

Drawing from painting to discover colour
Be inspired by the richness of colour in the paintings from the exhibition Sydney Moderns. Interpret a modern response using coloured pastels.

Drawing from the old masters to discover technique
Travel back in time to examine works from the Spanish old masters. Using similar materials, explore some of their drawing techniques. In conjunction with the exhibition Renaissance to Goya: Prints and Drawings from Spain.

Drawing from Asia to discover brush and ink
Contemplate some of the works in the Asian collection and practise the art of brush and ink on rice paper.
