Alexis Destoop
Belgian artist Alexis Destoop’s multilayered constructions in photography, installation and film examine the component elements of storytelling, the experience of time and the processes of identification and memory.

Phil Hastings
In American artist Phil Hastings’ recent and ongoing film series, he uses the interaction between man and water as a meditation on the human condition. For Hastings, water can be intimate or expansive, life-giving or life-destroying.

Katrien Vermeire
In Belgian artist Katrien Vermeire’s video work, a mass grave from the Spanish Civil War (1936–39) opens and closes itself. In 2011 she placed a camera above the spot where nine victims were buried after their execution by Franco’s supporters in June 1939 and filmed the excavation.
