Enjoy the words and symbols that will bring you good fortune, prosperity, happiness and longevity. Join the Auspicious symbols tours conducted by our Community Ambassadors and volunteer guides.

農曆新年是中國傳統喜慶的大日子。中國人過年時多會張燈結彩、舞龍、舞獅及放鞭炮以示送舊迎新。按照傳統的習慣,逢人要講吉利話,要穿顏色鮮麗的新衣裳等。諸如此般的慶節慣例都是為了圖個“吉祥如意”。新南威爾士藝術博物館在農曆新年期間專誠舉辦「如意吉祥」免費粵語、普通話及英語導覽。讓參觀者欣賞到館內蘊含如意吉祥徵兆的藝術典藏,在和祥吉慶氣氛中迎接蛇年。
