Drop in and learn the stories behind his etchings

Murruwaygu: following in the footsteps of our ancestors celebrates the Aboriginal culture of south-east Australia by exploring one particular strand of Koori art practice – the use of line by male artists.

Drop in to the exhibition between 1.30pm and 2pm to meet artist Uncle Roy Kennedy, who was brought up at Police Paddock Mission at Darlington Point, near Griffith, on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River. Uncle Roy will reflect on his childhood growing up on the mission and discuss the processes he used to create the prints on display.
