Absinthe
Temptation got the best of us – Contempo is going to awaken the green fairy once again, this time in the form of an absinthe-tasting masterclass.
Southtrade International will take us on a learning experience of absinthe, a drink made famous by the likes of Van Gogh and Mata Hari.
We will learn about its production, history and mythology, including the artists it influenced.
The tasting will cover traditional methods using the unique absinthe water drip fountain, sugar and spoon, and the modern methods used in cocktails today.
Indulge in an absinthe revival on this evening presented by Green Fairy Absinthe.
