Art Club: In the manner of the masters
For members’ children aged 9–12
Immerse yourself in the Gallery’s wonderful and varied collection of European prints and drawings from 1500 to 1900. Intricate and detailed, these fine works tell the story of the graphic arts in Europe from the late 15th century to the dawn of the 20th century, covering a range of periods, styles and schools. Using dry point etching technique, we will make a study from a master artist on display.
Art Club is designed for members’ children aged 9-12 years. These monthly classes will broaden your child’s knowledge of art and develop their artistic ability. With each class focusing on a medium and technique, they will also explore the Gallery and gather inspiration for their artwork. As one of our most popular programs, the monthly sessions are now booked individually rather than as an annual series.
