Known as the pearl of the Indian Ocean, Sri Lanka has a rich heritage and diverse culture.

Paul van Reyk, food writer and tour leader, will offer highlights and insights into the colours and flavours of the island, and Julian Droogan, archaeologist and lecturer, will offer further historical context to this unique culture.

Paul will lead the Society’s tour, A Taste of Sri Lanka, in August 2013.

Refreshments to conclude the afternoon.
