Curator talk on the new contemporary collection display
Anneke Jaspers, assistant curator of contemporary art, discusses works that evoke the body through its absence, and address themes of memory, emotion, trauma, mortality and the human spirit.
Photographs and sculptural installations – by the artists Rosslynd Piggott, Janet Burchill and Jennifer McCamley, Christine Borland, and Maria Elvira Escallón – will be considered in the context of the new contemporary collection display.
