Dr Helen Moleswoth, chief curator, Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston
Dr Molesworth previously held positions at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago and Harvard Art Museums, and has curated exhibitions of works by Catherine Opie, Luc Tuymans, Andrea Fraser, Paul Chan, Felix Gonzales-Torres, Zoe Leonard and Louise Lawler.
In this talk, Josiah McElheny: some pictures of the infinite, she looks at the work of glass artist Josiah McElheny.
McElheny’s work takes as its subject the object, idea and social nexus of glass. Influenced by the writings of Jorge Luis Borges, it often takes the form of 'historical fiction’.
