Just when you thought the Gallery couldn't possibly have any more colour on display, a vivid contemporary work created by a group of highlands artists from Papua New Guinea has just been installed.

For most city slickers the Sydney Royal Easter Show evokes memories of fairy floss, show bags, gut-churning rides and empty wallets! As thrilling as it is, for cultural spectacle, it just can't compete with New Guinea's highland shows.
