SIDNEY NOLAN A NEW RETROSPECTIVE UNTIL 3 FEBRUARY 2008 The Gallery's major summer exhibition reveals the genius of Sidney Nolan - one of Australia's greatest painters and our first internationally acclaimed artist. A comprehensive audio guide narrated by John Doyle (aka Roy Slavin) is available and a video on the artist runs within the exhibition. Upcoming Art After Hours events include Celebrity Talks with guests Wendy Whiteley, David Marr and Moffatt Oxenbould, and live poetry and music performances in the exhibition space. School holiday performances bring to life the Australian legends and heros that inspired Nolan, including Ned Kelly.
